My wife and I needed to make a fast paced move from Monterey, California to Colorado Springs, and we had to do it remotely. We had a limited timing window, and we knew that if things did not go perfectly, we would miss it. We needed to find someone who was absolutely rock solid and who could guide this boat safely to port. We talked to a lot of different realtors, but as soon as we met Kerri, we knew we had found the right one. Since we were planning on buying from out of state, we needed someone we could really trust to vet everything, handle the details, be honest with us, and guide us through the process. Kerri and Owen did all of that and more. Kerri helped us through the home search with video calls, gave us clear and candid feedback, and made sure we understood what we were seeing even from a distance. She brought in specialists so we could better evaluate the property and helped us make informed decisions. Her communication and availability throughout were exceptional. But what truly separates the pros from the rest is how they handle problems. And there were a few. After we found a house, we wanted to make an offer. But the lender we were working with was having problems getting us pre-qualified and the delay was threatening to blow up our timeline. The issue was my income. Even though I made enough to qualify, a lot of my work was 1099 and it was causing issues with the lender we had selected. Kerri stepped in, connected us with one of her lenders, another pro, and they sorted it immediately. We got our offer in the next day. That not only saved the deal, it saved us a lot of money. And we saved even more money during closing thanks to Kerri's strong negotiating skills. But even after the sale, she kept delivering. One of the biggest reasons we chose Kerri was because we knew we would need ongoing support. We moved here not knowing anyone and not having any network of our own. So being able to tap into her network of trusted people has been a godsend. Every person she has connected us with has been clutch. For example, 30 hours after we moved in, we had a household emergency. We called some people on our own, but then read their Yelp reviews and panicked. So we called Kerri, she set us up with her guy, and he fixed it the next day. A lot of people disappear once the sale is done. Not Kerri and Owen. That says everything. If you are contemplating an out of state move to the area, if you are looking for someone who will stand behind you before, during, and after the sale, or if you just want two of the best realtors in Colorado Springs, you can stop searching and just hire Kerri and Owen.
